good response to your grateful readers. i'm adding you to my followers.

wonderful to see someone with age and wisdom writing on SA.

someone who remembers how things used to be, but i fear will never be again.

BG: you missed my point, as did fitz.

which is this: if a person can't (or hasn't) learned basic writing skills, then how can i trust his energy conclusions.?

i am definitely no expert in energy. don't claim to be. and wouldn't dare write an article on something i'm so ignorant about.

but i'm sure going to put my trust in someone who shows he has a basic educational foundation, and fitz shows quite the opposite in this article.

he's all over the place, transiting to one non sequitur after the other.

how can i take his conclusions seriously when he has the worst transitions i've seen from someone who is supposed to be a college graduate?

do you understand me now, black gold?

it's impossible for me to take seriously anyone trying to convince me of something when that writer could not pass a 10th grade writing class.

how can anyone take seriously an article with so many run-on sentences, grammatical errors, and incongruent transitions?

    sorry, but i can't.

try taking a freshman writing course and then get back to me.

ps: i would really have hated to see this article before SA's editors got hold of it!!

  • Obama 'Shines' Natural Gas [View article]
the problem i see is the real eco-crazies that so strongly backed obama hate oil, hate gas, hate nuclear, and hate coal. in any form!

with perhaps a $7 trillion infrastructure already built to service this type of energy, how are we going to be able to dump all of those and move to alternatives as quickly as the eco-crazies are demanding?

    and from what i understand:

wind? not available everywhere in amounts enough to supply power.
solar? very expensive; and the metals it demands are rare and toxic.
natural gas? will require a huge new infrastructure to change over and the crazies hate it, too.

obama must try to please the crazies, who won't compromise one lick. so then, realistically, how does he make the US energy independent?
