In your example, you would have lost money holding either the levered or the inverse levered ETFs, which seems crazy. I assume there must be situations where bother the levered and inverse levered would MAKE money?
Because if not, doesn't that mean I could make a riskless profit by simultaneously shorting both the levered and inverse levered funds?
