Shallow article with no substance. Why shouldn't the market go up? Yes, the economy is still bad, but stocks fell way too much. A 20-30% correction would have been sufficient to account for the bad economy. Instead many companies sunk 50-90% for no particular reason. They are still in business and their revenues have fallen some. But not 50-90%. Therefore, stocks are due for a bounce, because they were sold off way too hard in the first place. Stocks were priced "ridiculously" low. The economy will recover. There is no reason to expect stocks to continue to slide to 0. Being a permabear is not permaprofitable. Sometimes you have to go long when prices are ridiculously low.
