  • 80 Years' History of Brutal Gold Stock Corrections: How Does Today Compare? [View article]
I found Mr. Sobolev's article very interesting. I knew that stocks like Lake Shore Gold went to $60.00 during the depression and stocks like Dome, Teck Hughs et al did very well, but I was unaware that from 1939-42 gold stock had crashed, so I found the article enlightning. But the "cash rich junior producers and explorers which sit on good deposits will undoubtedly have a bright future" caught me by surprise. Where do you have cash rich juniors. One mine I know is sitting on 7KK oz of reserve and has $120KK cash on hand. So what, they need $500KK to go into production. Where are they going to get the money. Even diluting the stock will not get them enough money to go into production.
