Putting Your Family's Financial House in Order [View article]
I always love how people have books (supposedly) telling others how to "Get Rich Quick" or "Manage Your Money". I have all the answers, just buy my book. Then the only ones getting rich are them from selling their stupid books, that don't offer any real advice or good/solid plans anyway.
Federal Reserve, What Do You Have to Hide? [View article]
They're not really letting banks "fail" (not the big players anyway). It's more of a consolidation/merger or restructuring. The bankers (along with the Fed) are still going to play the same "game", just under different names.
Auto Industry Watch: You Can't Get Different Results Doing the Same Thing [View article]
How come you people didn't and still don't seem to have a problem with the banks getting all that money and still not opening up credit? It's obvious to me that those who say the bankers control the world have it right. They can rape us all they want with little or sometimes no opposition, but when it comes to the people (blue collar workers), there's no money/help. If the Auto Industry goes under, we're really going to be screwed. The executives are as much if not more to blame for this than the unions are. Quit corporate ass kissing and stick up for the average American worker. Our so called leaders are using the union as the scapegoat and thereby causing more infighting amongst the citizens, directing our anger away from them and at each other. It's easier to control us when they "divide and conquer" that way. You just keep helping their cause, you fools. I hope for your sake that you can survive what's ahead for us and the economy. The union workers don't live extravagant lifestyles, like the executives do, they just want what's due to them.
Corporations keep outsourcing everything for cheaper (slave) labor, and in a few years there probably won't be any American industries left. Those still able to own a car will be driving a Japanese one. I'm not knocking foreign auto makers by the way, just making a point. It should be no secret to anyone that the elite want to reduce the population by a large percentage (leaving more of everything for them, the privileged few) and one way to do that is to take people's job/income away. The government (i.e. corporations and banks) won't be happy until they have all the money and resources and half the population dies of starvation and homeless from not being able to afford to eat/live. The next Great Depression appears to be on it's way. Are YOU ready?
Falling Prices Stimulate Michigan Home Sales [View article]
The prices have plummeted, because so many people have lost their jobs as a result of the Auto Industry crisis that people are losing their homes and others still can't afford to buy. There are tons of houses on the market right now. Trust me, we are not in a "Real Estate recovery". It's just that some people are now being able to buy a home, because the price dropped so much. Once those people are done buying, sales will be back down and there will probably be even more foreclosures coming. The author obviously has no idea what's really going on.
Also, in case you can't figure it out... those houses for $18K are in the places where most people don't want to live. The people buying them can't afford anything better. Some of them are also being bought by landlords and being rented out, which doesn't show up in the sales figures. I'm pretty sure (but don't have actual info) that there's more renters than homeowners in the current situation.
