I do read and appreciate all the industry news you provide. One day you will post a link about Axion and a major oem announcing a partnership.

    JP,

On DDG I agree. He is the CEO so we need to give him time to show his value.

However, the angst on the board is directly correlated to the pps. This is true across the entire stock universe.

    Nicu,

I wouldn't mind hanging with you at a craps table. I also hope your hot hand can benefit Axion. Great story.

HT as you know traders can game placements by shorting upfront and then using the placement to close out the short. In this case, it appears they can close a short and capture free warrants. The slight volume recently would show that this isn't a widespread practice - although this placement was telegraphed well in advance. That could be part of an explanation of why Axion has dropped 50% since June. Or more likely Axionistas have gotten exhausted.

    Stefan,

Good points but it's DDG game now. I too am "hopeful" for a new direction in policy and governance. As far as rose-colored glasses, we all wore them for awhile (even Maya and Bang) but some are so vested it seems harder for them to see things as they are - versus what they'd want reality to be.

Agreed. Also to your points on BA. Yes, we should be respectful and encourage his participation. For the curious they may want to read the old PbC posts as well. There are many insights there, even though similar questions may now get a nonresponse.

    geo,

More than likely if you have in the money warrants you'd sell your principal stake and try to capture more value with the time premium. But yes, someone with capital needs might sell off everything they can - including warrants. That be won't the majority though.

    RA,

The warrants will not be bringing in any meaningful cash to Axion in a useful time frame. They are an incentive to join the placement but also a hindrance in that the fully diluted share count significantly affects pps and all subsequent capital events.

Good post. I think in reality though the volatility favors the downside so I'd think more like 25% percent of the entire unit value is in the warrant. I also think the current pps is already reflecting this in the stock. The rational thing would be for investors to participate in the placement if they believe in Axion's long term success as the warrants keep "skin in the game" even if after principal is recouped.

Twas a decent buy below 70 cents. At double that and stalled growth not so sure. Never good when a microcap stalls before it gets to the sweet spot of its growth ramp up. 2015 is make or break; otherwise could slip back to the realm of nickels and dimes.

    JF,

Will you still double fist buy this one in the low 2s? That's still 4x consensus 2015 year end revenues. Or do you suspect it won't be a standalone a year from now?

I hope you stopped out of this stinker around $90 or so. However, I'm sure your XPO has made you whole again. Funny how in your article its almost like your spidey senses were telling you too stay away. Anyhow, I suggest next time you get stopped out you look for re-entries at least 25% lower than your stop.

Hmm; might get to $50 even before 2015?

Hard to imagine it getting to $60-$80 anytime before 2016 but the stock has now doubled off its October 2013 lows (yet it took 3 years to double from the October 2010 lows before that).

Already a multi-bagger for many so we have to hope that the broad market holds up and keep those with 100% gains from getting twitchy. Nichols is bold in his call for another triple of the $40 level. It "could" happen but I can stretch as far to say "should". Another double-up would be nice though.

Seems hard to fathom that it they'd sit on good news for 2 weeks considering the current pps duress. I'd think it's more likely that the news is bad enough to warrant an update; otherwise a pr would suffice if they were mildly guiding to the low end. imho
