Note to Europe: Watch How China Negotiates Russian Oil Deal

I am still paying attention to this. I don't know what the outcome will be of our removing Poland from our missile defense umbrella, and if there were commercial or other geopolitical considerations. But I am paying attention to this.
I don't know if we have made our Eastern European friends uneasy to appease our Russian competitors, but we must be careful because the outcome of this could be disaster if either Iran acquires nuclear weapons, or Russia does to Poland what it has recently done to other former Warsaw pact and European nations.
The implications for European security, NATO and world energy markets are huge, and I pray that policy makers have a better understanding of what all of this will imply regarding international energy markets, manufacturing capacity and domestic security than they are letting us know.
