7 ETFs For a Capital Preservation Portfolio

Question: One way to play this is to short long-term treasuries. However, my concern is that once these instruments start making a lot of money is when bad people will go to Washington and get short selling shut down and that will be the end of these ETFs. They'll regulate them out of existence using words like "unpatriotic" (because patriotism means going along compliantly with the massive swindle). What happens to the money you've invested in the ETF?
