Ecuador Default: Sell Into Simon Bolivar's South America

Why is it that all of the anti-Ecuador press never addresses the underlying claim of illegitimacy of the bonds. All they say is "You signed, you didn't pay, bad boy!". There is more to the story here, of NY financial thieves participating in corrupt deals with the former government. How about writing about that???
