For many of these, I sat through the "Morning Calls" or capital committee meetings listening to the analysts and the economists. It gives me an ear for those who believe what they are saying versus those who just want to rack up face time. Since I am still working as a consultant in the industry, I depend on my ear since I do not have a lot of time to do detailed analysis. But I prefer to confirm my reactions with other commentators.
