Normally, in times such as these the peasants take up pitchforks and hoe handles to storm the Bastille; however, the peasants can't read or listen to anything other than ear-plug music and reality TV...oh well.

What will happen when cable is priced out of reach to the dirty masses, music and game software become to rich for the peons; will they attack with their super-sized drink cups in hand..... They will die in the streets of worse than rubber bullets, water canon sweeps and inconceivable ignorance.

Try 1910 in Mexico, or 1789 in France.

Today, this era, is like no other in the last 50 to 60 years. To compare today to year 2000, 1980 or whenever is senseless.

The Worst Case Scenario (Someone Has to Say It)

I live very well on SS....in Mexico, under a mango tree....eating avocados two fer a nickle....I have a maid (one day a week) and a beautiful loving wife...(locally grown). Third world areas have a second economy (rice and beans) that has little to do with the ways of the rest of the world. It is not far to go, from rice to beans ...to rice and beans.....smile.
