  • Apple's Q2 Results Are Likely To Disappoint [View article]
All of this has been said before. Apple does need to diversify profit into other products immediately (yesterday). 68% dependency in that market is far to much. While people always say "price" when shopping obviously there is a disconnect in that data or they would NOT have sold 500M Iphones at this premium. There were always cheaper and free phones, people want Apple.

  • Microsoft Just Killed Itself, Apple Wins Again [View article]
Wil: Since when did "better" have anything to do with anything?

MS won the tablet war, MS had the very first fully functional production tablet. (I had one.) What was their prize for being first? MS has no concept of what a user wants. They want to sell a license end of engagement, on to the next mark.

BTW none of the important stuff (policies, accts, groups, security) you are mentioning is done at the device level. This kind of mindset is 6-8 years old.

In a BYOD model finance may not even be paying for the Ipads. Your scenario is really dated.

  • Is It April Fool's Day At The FTC? Herbalife Thinks So [View article]
Great article. Avoid the P-word that is semantics and where 80% of the energy here is wasted. It is not a P it is an incredibly bad quasi business scheme where you get exploited and make no money.

To clarify since my earlier post got pushed down:
"Never heard of it lol. iWorks has been around for years yet most people dont know what it is. Your living a pipe dream since most people wont even buy an Apple device because of its price point."

You mean except for the 500M units they sold, right?

To answer your other question you can use terminal server, command line and RDP. If you are using an Ipad for a single application you missed the boat anyway.

  • Herbalife To The FTC: Let Me Take A 'Selfie' [View article]
Great link above to the smoking gun. That is why this is a "distributorship" not a business. The 5th tier maximum payout is $15,538 annually or $7.48/hour. http://bit.ly/1ftqhvP
That means 96% makes less than $7.48 per hour. A business can not pay less than minimum wage and have people sign up only an MLM can.

  • Sell BlackBerry Now [View article]
This would have been a great enterprise fit for Microsoft, "one stop shop" story, but they got the Nokia thing in the way. A real missed opportunity at a low price.

Yes, Wikipedia: MLM it doesn't get more vanilla than this. 99.7% make no money. Average "distributors" make less than $1.50 per hour and the free labor of the exploited is the real issue.

  • Capstone Turbine's Stock Is More Bloated Than Plug Power's Ever Was [View article]
    Dear 2 post contributor:
The fact that it exists on a Fortune 25 stock (DJIA composite member) website would indicate to most people that it is not a hoax. Walmart is promoting this video. The video is not at Caps site with the "big customer" referenced. A hoax would be the video does not exist. Hearst has nothing on you. Greenery is another matter.

Rogier according to public UK court documents it is 99.7% failure rate (Wikipedia MLM ). Not 9 out of 10. To continuously pitch a well rehearsed business "plan" with a 99.7% failure rate is deceptive. The widely dispersed train wreck with nothing left to investigate is the only reason there are MLMs.

  • Apple: Dividend Increase Coming Soon [View article]
Apple is thriving in one of the most competitive markets ever seen. They should hold their cash horde and not pay a dividend, it is waste of capital vs. other acquisitions with much higher ROI. Should a rainy day ever come where they need it and the share price is effected the extra .25c wont mean anything. And magically the yield will double. To say there is nothing in the marketplace that they could buy which would be a better use of their capital is not plausible. This is short term thinking. If the SH price doubled would you care what the dividend rate was?

  • How To Know When To Short Apple [View article]
Apple does need to do more than total up the quarterly unit sales as impressive as they are. Something new is long overdue and is the catalyst for doubt and this type of article.
