    KMR was never an MLP. KMR was setup for institutional investors to invest in KMP. KMRs assets consisted only of KMP units.

    Richard Kinder was not fired from Enron. Kinder was told he was not a part of the succession plan, after Lay told Kinder he was. Thus, Kinder quit.

    mREITs usually are not included in Brad's articles as he tends to shun these types of securities on account of their fundamentals.

    Brad has written why he shies away from mREITs, it's just a matter of looking through his articles to find the one(s) covering these particular holdings.

    Simply only as an addendum, David, these pipeline assets were left unused by Enron. Enron, at that time, was leaving behind this part of the business and going into energy trading.

    Kinder left Enron before illegalities began at Enron. In fact, these shenanigans did not begin until his replacement (Jeffrey Skilling) was found.

    "Units" are used in lieu of "shares" when discussing MLPs. "units" versus "shares" is just a matter of terminology. They both mean the same.

    Yes, all KMP unitholders will get KMI.

    Specifically, 1 unit of KMP equals a little more than 2 shares of KMI (2.1?? shares), plus $10.77 per unit.

    A more specific answer will be found at, in the Investor Relations website, in the Press Releases.
