What is the cost of a parcel of land in San Francisco or Manhattan for which to build a home? How much would it cost to build a home in either of these two cities? What is the reselling price of homes in these two cities?
All these points are considerations for barriers-to-entry, which do make home ownership is S.F. and Manhattan prohibitive for many people.
