I had a sneaking suspicion this was happening. That is why I am still out of the investment scenes. That and the fact that I do not trust the CEOs. That is right. No matter how you pretty it up, the debt is still there and it remains ugly despite all the make-up you put on it.

The Insulet Corporation has done well despite the tough economic times. They launched their second generation PDM at the American Diabetes Association. The new system is sleek and has many important features. It is indeed a cutting edge technological tool.

It makes sense, doesn't it that a lot of debt plus federal monetization will just lead to interest rates that are higher. There is nowhere else to go but in that direction for sooner than later we will have to face the music and pay up. But I like what you said about the economy not going under as a result, but we will just experience slower growth.

GM's Viability Plan: Trying to Shrink Quickly Via Debt Exchange Offer [View article]
I thought they have had their last breathe. But anyway shrinking it may help. That is why they have already closed down some branches or offshoots so I heard from the news last night. Small Caps with Small Debt: Big Opportunity [View article]
Stocks with more balanced sheet will trade better than those that are highly leveraged. This just makes sense doesn't it? I am afraid of what you said that the economy will continue to be weak for sometime because looking at the market lately makes me think we are in for a rebound. But then compared to you, what do I know especially your prediction of last January is being proven right.
U.S. Debt Surpasses $11 Trillion But Day of Reckoning Is Still Ahead [View article]
Boy, this is such scary stuff. I am with you that printing all that money will not solve the problem. It will only make it worse. Besides, wouldn't that devalue the dollar? Buffett's Tiffany Debt Purchase Not a Good Reason to Jump In [View article]
I still believe we should have faith in Warren Buffett as not only is he a good investor but also he is a good man. He is showing optimism in the market to save us all I guess because if we stop investing and the market falls to depression level, where would that lead us?

When raised with the same question not too long ago, my answer would be that government bonds are the safest but I am now debating which is wiser and your article has helped me decide what to do. From your explanation, I gather there is an advantage to corporate debt so that would be where I will be concentrating my research on.
The deadline for the loan has been extended so this leaves them a bit of breathing room. As to the dispute between father and daughter, I think the father's wish stands. After all, I think he is the owner of the theater company and should have the last say.
