  • 60M Windows 8 licenses have now been sold, Microsoft (MSFT) announces. That's up from the 40M the software giant had sold as of late November. Microsoft notes this figure includes "both upgrades and sales to OEMs for new devices" - the latter could include licenses being held as inventory by OEMs. Figures from Net Applications, NPD, and others have tempered hopes that Win. 8's revival would stoke a rebound in PC demand.  [View news story]
Why write an article that says 'claims'. You make it sound as though you don't believe them. Anil is right. Why not just say ms announced that they have sold? Stupid article

  • Microsoft Is A Deeply Undervalued Stock At $31  [View article]
First and foremost Microsoft isnt a 'nowhere' company. It has 30% profit margin. Dont look at what it's failed at. A company with 30 billion dollars in profit in one year isnt a failure in any way shape or form. The writer is looking at STOCK, not his personal opinion on Windows 8. Sure windows 8 may not sell like windows 95, but it will sell, and make money. Probably alot of money, even if it doesnt sell as much as Apple, or Google. Calling microsoft flat is funny because i'm betting most of the comments here were posted by people using Windows, lol probably using IE too. lol flat...MS is everywhere like it or not and a company with 70 billion in sales isnt going to go down without a big fight. Probably safe to say MS is actually a good bet on your long term investment. I would agree with the writer
