Will Mobile App Pricing Fall to Zero?

The notion that your cannot sell product / software for fee on the web is narrowmided. To think you have to give it away so that you can charge advertising is going to change. Software, newpapers, movies, games, and other items of interest will be sold and they will be sold creatively. Unless you sell them... there is little incentive to develop product. Look to the future people are so fed up on the advertising revenue approach and people will accept to buying of product at reasonable test first then buy concepts.

I too went out to check out the new Droid. All I can say is that it not an IPHONE. It may have a powerful engine but it lacks the feel, the experience of the IPHONE. What a let down. Motorola's Droid Comes in Peace - For Now

Verizon needs to stop looking for an IPHONE KILLER. The IPHONE is not their enemy. Its ATT! The way for Verizon to counter the success of ATT is the add the IPHONE to its product line. I am a Verizon customer, I want the IPHONE but hate as many others, ATT's poor service. If Verizon sold the IPHONE, first they would bring the ATT customers back, and then they would take the market. Sometimes these writers just need to use up their alotment of words. There has been concern after cencern raised about APPLE but the vast major of the words are blind to the fact that APPLE is more than job JOBS. Ther as a company have a great consistent, long term consitentcy, towards end use delight with their products. They build products which work, also consistently, and they build products that have a marketing attractiveness, something which operates the way consumers like them to work and they are "cool". On top of they they manage their company exceptionally well and have a ton of cash avaiable for whatever they need. However the key is the future, and for that look at what they have: Best computers vertically integrated to give great margin a nd customers willing to pay a premium fo quality. IPHONE and the expected offsprings. Think about it, take an IPOD add a phone and the kids and adults who don't need a computer now have a path to the next generation of IPOD and they can then carry the IPOD and their phone in one small highly desired packaging. Home and entertainment. Wait and see as APPLE brings all this together. The key to their success is the level of demand, their commitment to exceptional design and quality and features, and their great leadership in running their business. This goes way beyond Jobs and while I expect he will be back, he has built a team a culture well prepared to continue and well prositioned for success. Yes I own APPLE stock and I am biased to theis success. To the writers of doom other than your alotment of words, what is your underlying motivation.

Feet to the Fire: How Analysts Missed on Apple iPhone Shipments

Many of these so called analysts seem to me motivated by trying to manipulate the stock prices. I has repeatedly stated that the SEC should review these highly negative articles ands the behind the scenes motivations of these individuals. Hopefully with these consistently exceptional results coupled with a very very strong balance sheet, coupled with the best design shop in the world, the analysts and the market will rejoin in praising APPLE.

I have a question.... how can all of the competitors copy the IPHONE design? It has reached the point of not just following design ideas, they are copying anything and everything ..That has got to violate some protection rights.

Apple Will Still Thrive Post-Steve

I believe APPLE will aggressively address market needs especially during this period when Jobs is out. That is for 2 reasons, first they have already positioned themselves for new product expansion and second to demonstrate that APPLE is much more than just Steve Jobs. I will bet that within the next few weeks we will see action to demonstrate the solid base of leadership and products at APPLE.

HP Grows Stronger and More Profitable - Barron's

I few years ago I did a study on HP, and projeced 2 expansions, first: The merging of EDS and HP and 2nd the combining with Oracle. That combination would create a world class IT / Solution Powerhouse. Now that I see the curret direction, I will add another projection: Apple. Over and above an HP, EDS, Oracle combination which I believe will come, we are moving to a virtual world. Apple bring that plus comsumer technology leadership. It will be interesting to see how close my projections come.
