  • Research In Motion: Disappointing Investors And Customers Since 2008 [View article]
Can you get serious for a moment? They are replacing services with a tiered system, one that makes huge sense because they are going beyond just BlackBerries. In addition, they get more carrier support, the same group who dropped them for all of 2012 are now on board in a huge way. What would you prefer, they not get 110% support, have to sell most of their porduct from their Website or have the resources of all carriers worldwide? In addition, they are holding the fixed fee structure on all BB O7 products and that means revenues are flat for years to come, they aren't going down. Just you you know, services are charged in many forms by all players, this isn't a "RIM only" experience here. I want security, I can't get it from your first love, Google.

The cash on hand is nothing short of amazing, they will exit Fiscal 2013 with well over $ 2 billion bucks and that after BB 10 is selling hard. You clowns thought BB wouldn't make it to market with their phones a few months ago and now we know you were very wrong. Finally, they round off their subs to millions so the best we know is they lost over 500,000 subs, we don't know any more than that.

We all hope you short RIM ASAP and go long Apple so that we can have the best time watching you get wiped out in 2013, some people have to learn the hard way I guess.

  • Beware Of Research In Motion And Nokia Near Year-End [View article]
There is no evidence of shorts covering either stock and RIM has 23.5% of their stock short right now plus all of the naked shorts. There is little chance that RIM will be dropping anytime soon with the number of shares that need to be repurchased heading into their product launch. As for losses, there are also a ton of gains as RIM has advanced 93% in the last two months making it a winner for many who purchased the stock this Fall. You can't conclude that either of these stocks will see tax selling when you don't no who has already left the play over the past 10 moonths, it is simply not possible to guess at this time. Almost all of RIM stock is tied up in good hands and shorts will have to cover.

  • Why RIM Is Still A Good Long-Term Pick [View article]
RIM is a fantastic buy because Apple isn't. Their ancient OS is going to kill them. When Samsung can run circles around them you know Apple is on Fail.

RIM has prototype phones pictured out there and any of them are far cooler than Apple's. The NYT is already calling iPhone 5 to fail. It is plain, ugly and outdated like their OS.

  • RIM Is Still A Turnaround Story [View article]
JamesAppleDummy - RIM is not even close to running out of options, save that for iOS 6. Apple is going to hit a brick wall in 2013 as their 15 minutes is over. As for RIM, they have everything to gain in America, nothing to lose. Once they launch BB 10, Apple will fall back to where it belongs as a niche player.

This has been a bad year for Apple investors, stock well off their 52 high, lowered forecasts, lowered sales, the problems continue to mount for Apple. All of their mis-steps are there for RIM to take over in 2013. With the oldest most boring OS out there today, Apple will make RIM products sell like hot cakes.

Hard to believe that it is Apple that will make RIM the power-house it deserves to be in 2013.

  • Going To Zero: Why More Public Companies Than Ever Before Will Be Worth Nothing [View article]
Is it asking too much for you to do some research before you post this nonsense? RIM grew cash in Q4 - 2012 & Q1 - 2013 and they stated cash will remain flat in Q2 - 2013 and yet you lie about their cash on hand bleeding?

They are going through a product and OS refresh just like the one Apple needs to do so badly, and even WP8 for Nokia, and yet you talk about their demise.

Yet another thoughtless article of no value.

  • Is Research In Motion Back Now? [View article]
They grew their subscriber base by 2 million too. We tend to forget all of the good news when bashing this stock. They also had sell-through of 10.4 million handsets, a huge number that everyone misses when dissing this play. RIM is looking great for 2013.

  • RIM's BB10 Chances Better Than Analysts Expect [View article]
He is right, I read about this back in August, fully 400,000 apps have never been downloaded and over 100,000 have been downloaded less than 10 times. There was an article over the weekend that spoke to this as well. Apple really doesn't have much of a lead at all. The media thinks so though, because Apple told them this was the case.

RIM will sell close to 30 million BB 10s, Apple products are so boring now, can't wait to get my BB 10!

  • QNX: RIM's Trojan Horse [View article]
You do know that Apple wil be withholding your cheque right? Great article, thanks for stepping outside the Apple dome and telling it like it is. BB 10 is so much farther advanced than i OS anything, RIM really is going to make some positive history in 2013.

  • Should You Short RIM? [View article]
RIM will succeed simply because Apple is going to die a slow death in 2013. Their iPhone is boring, their iOS is so old and totally useless. This isn't the average consumers first round of smartphones any more, they want something innovative and Apple offers nothing. Look for the market to open up for new and exciting products like BB 10.

  • The Good, The Bad And The Ugly From RIM's Earnings Report [View article]
The last quaerter was amazing, if any company beat their EPS by 40% the stock would be up a ton. The stock was up 140% proir to the huge short position of 130 million plus, that's right, 20 million in Canada too and probably many more after Friday as the shorts are in a whole lot of pain these days. IT's okay if Apple drops 30% because it is profit-taking and tax avoidance but when a stock is up 140% and gives up 30% it s tragedy isn't it? LOL

As usual, the same old historic numbers come out to downplay the quarter, cash only up $ 600 million in a single quarter and inventories way down while margins are growing again. All of this mazing news while we wait for a life changing product. Services numbers aren't declining at all because they haven't changed yet, they just need to execute their plan and a ton of BB 10's with REAL security will be hitting the markets worldwide with a massive push by carriers. Oh no, that sounds terrible!!! They have zero carrier support now but you think this still bad news.

How much are you guys paid to bash RIM?

  • RIM: Short-Term Trade, Long-Term Sell [View article]
Where do we begin, the apps argument is dead, RIM is light years ahead of Apple in OS, and many are lined up to buy the first BB 10. It is not just the 80 million subs but a huge number of bored Apple iPhone owners like myself, these will convert ASAP. Just too many errors in this dated piece.

  • Research In Motion Sets A Date [View article]
Let's not rehash the same information countless times please. RIM is doing everything right, 80,000,000 people can't wait to get their hands on a new BB and the rest are looking at it. Governments have to look at BB again simply because they are the only ones with security. Apple has failed on so many levels that a huge number of fans will want something new. RIM continues to biuld itself to gain market share. The product is outstanding and years ahead of the tired i OS 6 nonsense. MS is failing, Android is for kids and Apple is boring with just one more row of icons to offer after 10 months of sleeping at the wheel.

  • Is RIM Still In The Game? [View article]
RIMM sat back and waited for Apple to fail and they rewarded RIM with iPhone 5, a minipad and 16 flavours of pads. The stock hit the exit and today it has fallen $ 168.00 a share. Even the media have to stop pumping this dinosaur, it is a major loser since their launch of new products. All of those iPhone owners are now going to want the next super product and RIM has the branding to make a huge comeback in 2013. We don't know 80% of the features that BB 10 will bring to the consumer but there are millions lining up to buy it today. Meanwhile they get security approval and great press these days without a product! Apple look out, you days are numbered.

  • Blackberry 10 Is Almost Here [View article]
Or, it could just continue to go higher leaving you in the dust. This looks like the case. Remember, Apple is failing on all fronts, the stock is barely able to bounce a couple of bucks after a $ 125.00 plunge. It is below every average and sinking fast. A smart bet would be to buy RIMM as a hedge but you of course missed the boat.

  • Research In Motion: Good Speculation Play With Limited Risk [View article]
Great article, Apple is dead now, boring products and an outdated OS. RIM is bringing a great technology into 2013, at a time when Apple is trying so hard to catch up to Samsung. The fact is, they are too late, smartphone buyers are going for their second round of phones and they don't want to repeat the experience of such a boring iOS 6.
