I agree with RLLH. I'd like some expert insight into how Apple fits into this CODEC discussion. Seems to me MS is just trying to do what Apple has been so lauded for and, I might add, paid hansomely for. For the record, I do use WMP, both in XP and W7. At the moment my preferred CODEC is DIVX.
