How U2's $25 Million Payday from Live Nation Will Affect the Company

I don't think this is fear-worthy news, as Madonna just grossed well over $100 million and some LYV tours are setting records at $200+ million in receipts. U2 is bankable and will continue to be a hot ticket item for years to come.

Timing is bad - but then - look around, even the best companies are getting priced down by the economy, including some that are not suffering from the reduced incomes and outlooks. (Recession-proof?)

I think too much was made of this $25 million dollar part of U2's contract.
