Are Things Falling Apart at Apple's App Store? [View article]
To the stupid developers: Get a real job. Don't waste your time and money writing a software on a platform that pretends to give you freeee ... access. I hate to said that, but i was once a dumb developer for the supposed "free linux". Many developers were so blinded by blized and glitz of a new iPhone platform technology that they forgotten their business senses. Wake-up developer.
Need i said more, when people create and produce something they feel good about themselves and make better product. American has forgotten how to build and manufacture a product, we outsource it because we are lazy or code for "profitability".
Buy American, i said. (BTW: i am a first generation immigrant -- go figured ...)
IMAX: Welcome Back to the Land of the Viable [View article]
BigPicture has a point: IMAX screen in the theater is a water down version of IMAX. However, most of the people that went to IMAX Trans 2 did not care about the screen sizes. The 70mm size is outside of a normal person peripheral vision, you have to turn your head to see it from one side to the other. Movies are made for 35 mm sizes, hence, the director will focus the action in mid screen.
I like IMAX theater, and i do see that the smaller size is a scam. I do, however, believed that people do not care, or see the difference when they spend the extra 5$ for IMAX Trans 2 ticket. This is the same phenomenon as iPhone.
The author also fails to mention that Disney has several movies for IMAX 3D in the pipeline; this is why i am bullish on IMAX before Aug 6, 2009.

How Much Are Apple's 45 Million Users Worth? [View article]
For the last decade (1985-1995) APPLE users been declaring total domination and superior platforms. A decade (1995-2005) after APPLE still has less then 10% share of the market, and its users still declare dominate ... I am not sure what reality this is.
If the trend continues, the next decade (2005-2015) APPLE will rule the world ... This is going to be like the great ads that they had.
BTW: i had an MS in EE/CS and was a an embedded developer, and APPLE kernel is as crappy or worst when compare to WINDOW.

When did content owner paid platform provider a fee to distribute? This article is another mislead, and confuse APPL user. The microfee that you are assuming is bogus for APPL, the content provider will charge APPL a fee for its content.

Bought STEC at 12 sold all at 27 ... dam toltally miss out on 12 point runs. My reason for selling is STEC that a pure SSD for the enterprise or servers market, and WDC is encroaching the enterprise market with their cheaper yet lower performance SSD solution. WDC is a better buy because it can provide for the mobile craz (atleast that was my thesis for selling STEC and bough into WDC dam ... lol)

Not.new is absolutely correct on the pricing, but you have to understand that people who buy Apple, and Apple iPhone developers does not care of value.
Apple marketing machinaries have entice their prospective customer to think of Apple devices are unlike another devices. Apple customers (and probably investors) are brain wash by Apple marketing genius.
BTW isellapple: Apple had one revolutionary technology since its inception and that is the "Window" user interface. To those who believed that Apple had invented any revolutionary technology is pure imagination or just Apple marketing. The ARMs board is designed and layout by vendor Engineer not Apple.
