I love plastic money (VISA,MC,AMEX,DINERS) it allows to pay everywhere around the world, paper money on the oposite are stinky and have billions of dangerous microbes in it, who knows what happened to 100$ bill before you keep it in your hand,you can only imagine what could happen to it and who could hold it...
Gold I like very much for it's shine that's why I bought Rolex Daytona in yellow gold for 20,000$ but I would not be able to exchange my watch even for a 10$ bill at Wal Mart at the cashier.
Or imagine how you pay with 1 ounce gold bar for goods at the cashier.
