  • What Happens To Dividend Growth Investing When Inflation Hits 10% [View article]
Thanks for the historical review, Eddie. Dividends are increasingly key in my stock selection as my portfolio develops. It's one reason I'll soon be dumping ebay at an acceptable profit and buying a dividend payer with growth prospects.

Neglected to say I picked it up at $34.51. Another hour and I could have gotten for a dime less. Even so, am pleased. And there's a chance I'll buy more if slide continues.

  • Facebook: Short-Term Stud, Long-Term Dud? [View article]
Have been in and out of FB in various accounts at small profits each time. Any comparison to MySpace is indeed ignorant. When I tally the hours friends and colleagues spend on FB, it's clear that there's a bright future.

Agree. But being no day-trader, I've got the patience. In addition, the dividend helps.

Yeah ... I didn't get that either. Plus, if a specific taxable account is earr-marked for heirs, the date of death of the account-holder for the TOD will be the cost basis. Much ado about not much.

Took a small position in FE late last year, based on yield (and consistent dividends for 17 years.) Obviously, I have regrets.
