The Second Reason Consumers Aren't Spending

Exactly! The whole consumer model is going to change. People have stopped running to buy the latest and greatest. How long do you think America could go without buying new cars, TV's and clothes? I can tell you- a long time. What we are seeing is a new world war, not a military one but an economic one. The have nots are rebelling aginist the consumer culture. Deflation is rampant (want to argue that? check your home value....) and that is killing those own stocks and real estate. That means the rich are getting crushed as the value of their assets plummets. The game is changing and it will never be the same again.
