  • Skyworks: Q1 Call Underscores Need To Acquire Resonant [View article]
Resonant certainly has the interest of the whole space. I hope Skywork's beats the others to the punch. Otherwise, Resonant will have no choice but to accept the highest bid.

98M market cap is a drop in the bucket to these other companies. I will also keep my Skywork's shares upon an acquisition of RESN

  • Tekmira Pharmaceuticals' Ebola Run-Up Isn't In Touch With Reality [View article]
Very uneducated article, as Tricia said, Long or Short.

The article makes little sense and is picking a fight (perhaps because Author / interested parties are Short ) based on Ebola.

Tekmira is much, much more than some Ebola 'play'. They have a pipeline that potentially could be very attractive to larger companies.

Market Cap is ~$600M. Make your decision on whether that is a drop in the bucket for GSK. Baker Brothers are now firmly long yet shorts are clearly fighting this move.

I contend this move should have occurred sans Ebola. The company has been a red-headed step child of sorts, primarily due to it's Canadian headquarters. However, now, with a clear inversion tax movement, that is another solid attribute.

US Mutual Funds will now have to get involved on the long side. Price Target $30.

    Potential 2015 Deal value $1B --- $40/share

  • Why First Solar Remains The Best Pick Across Solar [View article]
Bulge Brackets and others, Axiom, hedge funds, etc HATE First Solar. I see daily algorithms designed to put pressure on the stock and keep it depressed. Also, as the TAN goes, so goes FSLR. It is one of the larger components, so no matter how well the Company is executing, it needs the sector to perform.

I will take the contra here ; I am a BULL. The bears are all members of the low hanging fruit club in my opinion. Lots of folks supporting each other and bashing FSLR.

Fundamentally, I see First Solar executing and I expect more contract announcements and solid revenue. The stock is undervalued, and it is possible that management will be approached by PE. If not, I suspect management is just as tired as some shareholders, and my belief is they will do what they can to enhance shareholder value and kick the short sellers off the cliff.

Time will tell. I expect FSLR to hit $90 within the next 4 months.

  • Why Resonant Could Be The Next Qualcomm Or Skyworks Solutions [View article]
Long and adding to both RESN and SCON.

Both provide very disruptive and unique entry into major market segments.

SCON is closer to revenues but Resonant will not need revenues to go higher. When their filter comes into play, many will want a piece of the pie.

  • Why You Should Be Bullish On Keryx Biopharmaceuticals [View article]
It is as simple as this :

Some Boston and NY based hedge funds have a relationship with Feuerstein and that is how he gets his 'information'. He does not have a background in biotech, a degree in biotech, and has never been an analyst on WS, so his stories, in my opinion, are all based on what has been fed to him.

What would be interesting is to review the PM's he speaks to and the stocks that he mentions. However, I am sure they are not on the same side or would trade on any information.

It would just be interesting to see the results. It is all an opinion until someone, somehow, gets elevated to writing for TS and somehow has a following on Twitter, etc. What he is doing is completely legal. He has 'sources', and he writes articles. The question is who benefits from the swings that he causes?

  • Market's Epic Mistake Causes Cleantech To Triple [View article]
CLNT Tuesday, June 25, 3:11 PM ET
Jon Carnes' EOS Holdings discloses a 9.5% stake in Cleantech CLNT. Carnes is better-known as a short seller (Alfred Little) who made a fortune uncovering Chinese frauds.

Carnes' loves CLNT...I believe..for the obvious fundamental reasons. CLNT is for real folks. SHORTS ARE IN TROUBLE.

  • Why Medbox Is Drastically Overvalued And How Federal Drug Laws Will Prevent Any Potential Growth [View article]
The Author's reply and arguments seem less than objective. My guess is he and/or affiliates have a short position in the stock.

This is the sort of scenario that could see a strong short squeeze to the $50 level. Should be interesting to watch this play out~!

  • Why Medbox Is Drastically Overvalued And How Federal Drug Laws Will Prevent Any Potential Growth [View article]
Lots of ridiculous statements in this article. The article seems like an attempt to frighten someone, not sure who, but there are weak arguments and it appears to be written by some high school students.

"We also see the odd accounting news"
***That is old news, already figured into the stock and a review of auditing has been completed. There are no legal issues with the accounting of this company.

"Further worrying for this type of small company are the words"
***Really, the words "back in April" of a drug czar mean Medbox doesn't have a potentially blockbuster product for all legal dispensing locations?

  • 3 Tech Stocks With Recent Intensive Insider Selling [View article]
The insider selling was planned. All exercised on Jan 15 and all sold on Mar 1.

Shorts are running scared here. Very common we will see 'hit' pieces and bearish views on blogs such as this and other avenues to try and manipulate the price.

My opinion is that UNXL will be going much, much higher.

    Go CLSN

Not sure P. Lynch is so legendary in my mind. Before Reg FD, he was able to find out before many others how any quarter was tracking. Many companies provided financial updates to him before others. To sum up, he was in the right place at the right time and used his power to get ahead.
