  • Homebuilders Bounce: An Early Sign of Recovery? [View article]
    Builders are building apartment complexes, not single family homes. This reflects the reality of the downturn. Housing continues to be in depression. I just returned from a shopping trip to the Outer Banks of NC. There are for sale signs everywhere, and almost no new construction. Granted this is mainly a second home and resort rental market, but the fact that that market has been destroyed is a very bad omen indeed.
