  • Bio Fuel for Jets: Still Far Down the Runway [View article]
Earth to Morons, Earth to Morons, keep playing games with algae and plants and THINK you can mass produce it to replace 1/1000000000 of a days worth of Jet A? Here's a free tip, you're nuts. The only viable alternative is Coal. The US AirForce has already flown full flight tests in F-15 and B-52 aircraft using coal converted to liquid; a proven and reliable process provided by either Rentech or Syntroleum. And for all the tree huggers or unAmerican's who want to continue to fund terrorists countries with our petro-dollars, CTL is clean technology and readily available in the good ol'USA.

  • Biofuel Powers Air New Zealand Test Flight [View article]
So how many square miles of jatropha plants does it take to make a gallon of equivalent Jet A? And how much corn or wheat will the US farmers NOT plant to allow for space for jatropha? Smoke and mirrors people, same with algea. How much water is wasted to make a gallon of Jet A. Coal to liquid conversion (CTL) is proven, coal is plentiful in the US, and with carbon sequestration (sp?), it's CLEAN.
