  • RIM: Research In Motion Pays A Bounty For Apps As It Approaches D-Day  [View article]
Explain to me how ios and Android have even remotely similar security -- I would love to know.

Like so many bearish analysts , you make no mention of the highly innovative features of BB10, or the huge potential for QNX -- why is that?

I think Wilson is very on target, and that we truly are in the VERY early stages of a turn around.

Author of this article: Rarely have I seen a more pathetic, thin, non-specific (to the stock you are supposed to be writing about) article.

PLEASE: do us a favour and do your homework -- and make it up to date -- first.

I agree -- especially good decisions by Lazaridis and Balsilie were to buy QNX and The Astonishing Tribe.

Evidence contradicts you on many turns, and all the while you don't spout much more than an opinion -- but on what evidence?

  • Back From The RIM Of Obscurity?  [View article]
Us usual a totally one sided comment -- no mention of other tech cos that also don't have a booth at CES.
And really -- what would be the point? Until 30th Jan. Rimm isn't showing new product.
As for marketing -- they are doing the smart thing -=- plenty of media talk without spending a penny.

What is "in all likelihood" based on?
Certainly not much if you had bothered to look at the new OS and features of BB10

  • Research In Motion: Don't Look, Listen  [View article]
Vince Martin, I'm confused by your statements:

"I hate my iPhone" -- why keep it? Try BB10 -- lots of new and innovative features that neither AAPL nor Samsung have.

also: re Management "nothing has changed" -- and then you go on to say within 3 months (presumeable the time it took for Heins to take a closer look at fundementals) and change his tune, showing awareness for the need to change -- which is now being implemented.

Are you trying to cover both sides???

  • Research In Motion's Q3 Conclusion: Aggressive Buy  [View article]
Good analysis, George. Fact based thesis, whether pro Rimm or against, is ALWAYS better than the subjective and unsubstanciated comments like "2013 AAPL enterts enterprises market, . . . Rimm exits " ans " a much more probable outcome ios that BB10 devices will be DOA".

Show us underlying facts if you execpt any respect.
