In my opinion no one will focus on the real problem. And that problem is the GOVERNMENT, with Congress the main culprit. If they would do their job in an intelligent and competent manner we would never have reached this point. Balance the budget, get out of the way and let the private sector do the job it can and would do if left alone. By doing year and years of deficit spending and thus years and years of inflation, in a sense they are providing us with counterfeit money. It is worth 100 cents today and tomorrow it might be worth only 50 cents. It is a very subtle program but if people would ever wake-up and realize what is happening to pay checks and savings some good things might happen. If not, we will just go through this mess over and over.
