Re "Just another day in Paradise" Doesn't this writer recognize a sarcastic joke when he hears it? I know Alan, he's a very bright guy with a great sense of humor, and a lot of drive. When he designed the Boeing 777, he did it by throwing all the papers in the air and starting over; and it turned out to be one of the world's best transport aircraft. In year 2000 (written 1998) I wrote that the future of air transport was in flights between city pairs, not hub-and-spoke. My friend Alan Mulally agreed.
