GSK "had a relatively uneventful 2008"! What are you smoking? The stock has been terrible! It's 2008 high was in January 2008 and has been nosediving ever since. Maybe what you mean to say is, "how much worse can it get? The only way is up!" 2006 and 2007 were great years. 2008 exposed every GSK weakness.
