I can think that RAI or (BTI) does have there eye on this company in the near term. RJRT has just cut 1400 in the last 14 months.
Each company, RAI is 13B,and BAT as a 42% stake holder, with LO a 10B in market cap.
Who will eat whom here ? This would make two big players in the US market. PM-USA with a 51%, and the other two with a 37% share of market.
This may look like a 50/50 merge with BTI left with a +20% stake holder of a 2B profit company in the USA without any liability.
