I hold a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment (similar to CFA), and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
I have 30 years of personal investing experience, and 17 years of professional financial advising experience, including trading experience at ETrade Australia, 6 years as a Senior Financial Planner at Commonwealth Bank of Australia and 10 years at High Net Worth Financial Advising. My business is a mix of young clients growing their wealth, pre-retirees, and retirees wanting income, some growth, and safety. As a global investor I use a macro thematic approach searching for good value and/or high growth. I search the globe for great investments with a focus on Asia, Emerging and Frontier Markets as well as "trend investing". I assess a countries demographics and growth potential. Some trends I currently follow include the rising Asian middle class, electric vehicles and the lithium/cobalt/graphite/nickel/copper miners, renewable energy, energy storage, smartphones, 3D printing, and personal robots.
I also love to invest in income producing investments that can grow over time and benefit from compounding....Included here are the near monopoly businesses such as the stock exchanges, and the high quality income producers.
I use direct shares, ETFs, mutual funds and some direct property investments.
Potential new clients can contact me via the private message section or via my HNW website, linked on my profile page. I have recently launched an international client service.
Several years of experience in investment banking and private equity as a generalist with principal investments across senior and junior debt as well as equity.
I believe in the teachings of value-oriented investors such as Howard Marks or Warren Buffett with my own deviations and interpretations. Most important is an emphasis on maintaining skepticism in bull markets and risk aversion as the backbone of a largely contrarian approach in my pursuit to uncover value in long-term opportunities.

Ken McGaha has been managing his own investment portfolios for over 20 years. On July 20, 2012 he launched the Self-Made Millionaire Tracking Portfolio with a portion of his capital as an aid to teach younger members of his extended family how he built his own investment portfolios and maintains them today.
Ken's flagship Self-Made Millionaire Tracking Portfolio had delivered a 18.57% annualized rate of return on capital as of May 16, 2015 against its benchmark objective of 15% annualized.
Self-Made Millionaire was closed to the public in December of 2015 to allow Ken to focus on private analysis work. He is now engaged in independent analysis of private and public companies for individual clients.

I am a former financial communications programmer, turned full-time investor. I began investing in the mid-1990s, looking for a way to achieve early retirement. (A goal in which I have succeeded, if you don't consider full-time investing a job.) I took a scientific, experiment-based approach rather than a studious one. I feel that this approach, combined with my extensive programming work in financial markets and directly with traders has given me uncommon contrarian insight into what really drives market dynamics.
To that end, my articles will center around stocks and their derivatives because that's where I have the most experience (over 20 years). I may occasionally comment on currencies, where I believe I have a sound academic knowledge, but less trading experience.I will always refer to a company by name or some abbreviation thereof. By contrast, I will refer to the stock a company issues by its ticker symbol. I think it can be important to differentiate between the two.
I am a dividend investor and look for undervalued investments in the stock market. I identify misunderstood and undervalued equity investments and hold those securities until their price approximates my estimate of intrinsic value. I am a long-term investor only.
I am building a $100,000 high-yield income portfolio. I am running this portfolio as an experiment to see if long-term sustainable income can be generated from a diversified pool of high-risk, high-yield securities. I am willing to accept high risk in order to meet my performance goals.

AtonRa Partners is an independent equity research and asset management company. I have been monitoring the 3D printing industry for over 5 years. I have a sophisticated understanding of Fused Deposition Modeling, Selective Laser Sintering, Stereolithography, Sheet Lamination, Directed Energy Deposition, Binder Jetting and PolyJet. My investment advice reflects an understanding of the changing Intellectual Property landscape and the impact of new companies entering the US market. I am bullish on the economic impact of 3D printing and the enormous opportunity to democratize manufacturing; I believe that 3D printing is analogous to the computing landscape of the 1970s. Huge market upheaval lies ahead.
At Valuentum, we think the best opportunities arise from a complete understanding of all investing disciplines in order to identify the most attractive stocks at any given time. Valuentum therefore analyzes each stock across a wide spectrum of philosophies, from deep value through momentum investing. We think companies that are attractive from a number of investment perspectives--whether it be growth, value, momentum, etc.--have the greatest probability of capital appreciation and relative outperformance. The more investors that are interested in the stock for reasons based on their respective investment mandates, the more likely it will move higher.

I'm an asset manager at Hebba Alternative Investments with a focus on real assets. In my articles I like to focus on events that affect the macro environment for assets (especially gold and silver), and also introduce readers to different metrics that I believe are under-utilized when assessing investments.
On a more personal note, I'm a firm believer that there can be honesty, morality, and integrity in finance (though its rare) and i'd like to believe that I stick to those principles. Thus I never "pump and dump" stocks, I always list the securities we own, and I take it very seriously when I recommend a company - I do not want to see any investors/readers lose money because of my recommendations.
I'm not always right with recommendations, but investors and readers can know that I always tell the truth (there is no deception) and I eat my own cooking as recommendations are either always owned OR the reason I dont own them is given (usually related to restrictions on stocks I can buy).
Advising people in financial matters is a serious issue and integrity is much more important than money to me, but I do believe both can co-exist. You live with money, but after your death you only have your morality and integrity and thus i've made my choice between the two. A bit philosophical for a bio, but I dont think there's a better way to give investors my background than that.
We offer investors a free weekly email list detailing gold, silver, and general economic markets which you can sign up for at: http://www.communitysynergy.com/subscribe/hebbainvestments_subscribe.html

Active investor and trader since my teens. I retired early from my career in healthcare administration and have been a full time investor for 5 years.

I focus on investments in the oil & gas & MLP sectors with an eye for dividend income growth and long-term capital appreciation. I typically allocate a portion of my own portfolio and devote some of my Seeking Alpha articles to small and medium sized companies offering compelling risk/reward propositions. I am an engineer, not a qualified investment advisor.
