I became involved in the stock market in 2006 and I am a self-taught individual investor. I love reading and analyzing the stories, the people and the reasons behind the rise and fall of the stock prices. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a postgraduate diploma in Education. I am currently a CFA Level 1 candidate. Psychology plays a huge role in the stock markets and I personally believe that your approach to your investment decision is just as important as the investment decision itself. Human emotions have a lot more weight than rationality and objectivity in this field. Buffett's "Be greedy when others are fearful" is definitely easier said than done! With my non-finance academic background and an immense interest in the markets, I hope to provide a unique perspective about the companies I analyze that goes well beyond the expected and the obvious.
