The White House task force was right to reject the GM/Chrysler plans. As a turnaround specialist I have yet to see an incumbant team capable of carrying out such an operation. It requires new blood untainted by failed policies and not suffering from denial that they got things wrong.
I agree, the younger generations need to re-discover the work ethic, real work that is not the pretend stuff they have been so busy with in recent times. Real work creates real value and is the only way forward. All this so called service stuff has run out of real assets to service and that is at the root of current problems.

What you say makes economic sence. The problem is that Brown is and always has been an economic ignoramus. He has no understanding of how the real world works which is why he got the UK into a mess by kidding himself and most of the electorate that he was working a miracle. The further problem is that those who would replace him also show a lack of understanding of how to turn things around.
