  • Whose Notebook PC Business Is Most Valuable? [View article]
Overall your approach has much merit - but for what purpose? My company, Valt.X Technologies, is introducing Cyber Secure Computers based on an ultra security chip we have developed. As we approach HP, Dell, Apple and others we will be promoting the value our technology brings - increased margins, market share and market cap. Users pay $125-150 for our chip which replaces anti-malware software - our chip works with absolute certainty.

Dell has a $29 Billion market cap and $2.2 Billion Net Tangible Assets while Apple has $175 Billion market cap and $27.2 Billion Net Tangible Assets. Dell's future business is forecast worth $27 Billion while Apples is forecast worth $148 Billion (Market Cap minus Net Tangible Assets)

  • MathStar's Moves Don't Add Up [View article]
It's for the cash and Net Operating Losses which could be used in certain cases to offset future taxes. Mathstar is being valued at $11.5 million by Tiberius - less than the cash they have.

  • Goldman Turns Bullish on Hardware: Dell Top Buy Idea [View article]
Even though Dell has near $11 Billion in Cash they only have $1.8 Billion in net tangible assets. Dell could be finished in 12-18 months. Their Q108 vs Q109 shipments are down over 18% - Acer is up 9.5%. The attack from other Taiwan companies, ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte has begun putting both Dell and HP in a position of declining market share. The Goldman report seems more like Brown Nosing to try and get an Acquisition deal position with Dell.

  • How Vulnerable Is the Internet? [View article]
Is Foreign Aid really Foreign Aid or just a way for those giving the Foreign Aid (Politicians) a way to steal money? After all once the "Forign Aid" is given there's no way to track where the money goes from there - is there?

  • Western Digital vs. Seagate Technology: Value in Hard Disk Makers  [View article]
Commodity products are always a race to the bottom unless there is a cartel in place. Innovation and differentiation are key. Valt.X is developing Digital Secure Drives (Solid State with the S Chip ultrasecurity) and Hybrid Secure Drives (Solid State, the S Chip ultrasecurity and standard HDD.
Seagate still has a shot if they act now - or maybe the plan is to drive down share price - take private - retool and come back again. Perhaps a Seagate/SanDisk merger makes sense - SEASAND?
