    I own 1000 shares of Bank of Am. @ 25.00 at 8.25% return for income. I'm retired, should I sell and take a 50% lose just to safe what I can of my capital ,I'm worried that they will Natioalized and I will lose everything.

    I'm 64 years old and can use the income of the Preferred securities of Bank of America, Barclay Bank, Deutsche Bank, Keycorp and Morgan Stanley,There all Preferred securities paying about 8.25%.
    Worried about the govenment taking them over and leaving me with nothing. Ore there just going to to the way of Bear Stearns.I guess I'm not the only one thinking about this in these times.

    I'm 64 years old and have perferred securities with a few investments banks including Bank of america. I dont know if I should take a hair cut loss and put the money in US-Treasury bills, or just stay and get my 8.25% return. If the Investments banks still stay in business. Kind of worried, at this point . Like alot of other people. Thanks.
