Euro at a Crossroads

On a visit to the US, the British prime minister recently gave us historic and priceless gifts, but our president dissed the British by giving them 20 CDs of movies they can't even play. So don't kid yourself by thinking this government is a better "citizen of the world", for cooperation with respect to currencies or the financial crisis. This new president doesn't give a flying flip about Britain or the rest of Europe. However, we'll probably give the Syrians or the Iranians our original Declaration of Independence.
