  • Apple's Sell-Off Is An Opportunity... To Sell [View article]
All indications point to the 'watch' like product to be released alongside the new lineup of iPhones this year. The larger screen iPhone is almost a certainty as well.

ajbstrat - before criticizing Apple to such a degree, are you aware of their catalysts for the near future? Larger screen iPhone end of this year, 'watch'/band product for later this year, mobile payments platform, and TV set/improved AppleTV?

I think the larger screen iPhone will help immensily. There were reports out of TheVerge last week about the 'watch' product being able to constantly track a user's blood pressure, heart rate, hydration level, etc. The mobile payments platform could be HUGE. Nobody has yet to really do this correctly with NFC. Apple has already implemented this type of thing at their stores, and could rapidly expand this to other top retailers. Basically, you have a fingerprint secure way to make purchases at retail stores using only your phone, potentially without any interaction with sales staff. The TV could be huge as well, but I don't expect that until 2015.

    Hey Dan-
It's interesting to me that you predict 400 for Apple by the end of year. If you've been keeping tabs on Apple rumors, you'll see some very credible reports of a larger display iPhone coming later this year, ALONG with their 'watch'/band, health focused product. Apparently it could be pretty revolutionary, being able to constantly monitor ones blood pressure, heart rate, hydration levels, etc.
In addition, are you aware of Apple's mobile payments platform which is in the works which would be a HUGE deal partnering with popular retailers? Nobody has nailed with with NFC yet, and Apple seems ripe to.

The Apple TV set (or improved set top box) could also be out this year, but likely in 2015. Apple is already beginning to lay out the bandwidth infrastructure for massive content delivery. (http://bit.ly/1fXgoYz)

I actually think Apple does need to get into larger displays, and by all indications, they will be releasing a larger screen iPhone come September (go read up the rumors). I'm an Apple bull.

  • Apple May Finally Be Turning A Corner To The Downside [View article]
So you're calling everyone outright retarded who is questioning Apple's growth potential from here? I think you need to put on a pair of realistic glasses and get out of fanboy mode.

I've been an Apple fanboy since the iPhone launched in 07 since early this year, owning every iPhone since 2007. Bought them all (with exception of 3gs) within 24 hours of release date.

All I'm saying now is that if they don't continue to innovate with never before seen stuff, I may consider other options later this year when I upgrade my phone. When I go to the gym.. seems like EVERYONE has the iPhone now.

Exactly. What's their next big innovation? If they can keep innovating with brand new, revolutionary gadgets then sure their stock will keep going up. Competition is catching up to Apple now.

I'm an iPhone user since 2007. I'm thinking I'm getting a bit bored with them. And let's be honest.. everyone has one now. If iPhone 5 isn't something that clearly sets it apart from others, I may consider a Windows 8 based phone.

NOK has a much brighter future than RIMM at this point. NOK has a plan. What's RIMM's?

Let me preface by saying I've had every single iPhone since 2007, all purchased within a couple days of being released. What type of innovation is left for Apple? It also seems like SO many people have the iPhone now.

Do all you Apple fanboys have any idea what Nokia is actually doing?

Those who got in AAPL early, seriously consider cashing out a chunk. Replace that with MSFT and a sprinkle of NOK.
