Gary, your brief article has a point well taken. The situation is like looking at the immediate results of an accident with an iceberg. There may still be collateral damage that we haven't perceived on that sinking ship. A little charity for the man that's down wouldn't reflect poorly on any of us. To paraphrase the saying "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone." If this act hasn't seriously affected how the government runs, let him "pay the price" of his doings, but we should refrain from slanderous judgement in the public forum. Now he, too, will have his day in court. Anyone gloating over his problem isn't doing anyone right.
