  • Congress: Stepping Up to the Fed? [View article]
Rest assured, whatever transparency that MAY occur with the Fed, that the Barney's and Nancy's and Harry's of the Washington DC world will cut deals behind closed doors that will make it WORSE than better for us, the taxpaying slobs. DISESTABLISHMENT of the Fed is the ONLY cure, period. And also DISESTABLISHMENT of the IRS. Initiate the Fairtax, and we (as a country) will be on our way back, otherwise its business as usual.

  • Will a Gold Correction Come? [View article]
OBAMA is "WARNING" us of another DEPRESSION (because of housing/foreclosures). Now, that's a surprise, right? Not that he's warning ANYTHING, but unless you have been living in a cave for the past year, the economic disintegration (and NO end in sight) is a GIVEN!

So, Anthony, you think there may be a pull back in gold and silver, huh? So f......king what! No bid deal. This time next year gold will have a 2 (or 3) as the first digit, and silver's first digit will be ABOVE a 4, so who the hell cares about today, this week, or November 2009!

Get your butt out there, buy PHYSICAL gold and silver and you won't have to worry.

    No charge for this advice!

  • Silver: Use Leverage on the Laggard Metal [View article]
While your comment is partially valid, your inference that JPM (and the other shorting banks) will be the determining factor in the price of silver is inaccurate. Case in point. When overwhelming DEMAND for PHYSICAL silver casts aside "paper" silver will be the determining factor, since JPM et al will have to dump their shorts which will result in a MUCH higher price of silver. Until DEMAND for PHYSICAL silver is routinely made, JPM and the rest of the thiefs will MANIPULATE the price of silver.

BB: What is the silver content (fineness?) of these coins you speak of? Can they be obtained without physically going to Mexico?

  • Current Gold Price Is Not a Bubble [View article]
Brian: Thank you for your comment! My reason for highlighting the "survey" was merely to bring to light the fact, and it is a FACT, that the average guy/gal out there DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE about gold or silver, or precious metals in general. I tried it Sunday. I inquired of strangers (those who know me are aware of PMs) on the price, value, overall makeup of the PMs arena. Overwhelming consensus is that people "don't want to be bothered" by what they perceive as unaffordable. Then there is the pure unadulterated lack of knowledge. I stand by my mantra: When Joe Sixpack is talking about PMs, I will be SELLING!

BePrepared: You are so right! Did you see the clip where NO ONE would buy a Canadian Maple 1 oz gold coin for FIFTY DOLLARS!!!!!! This guy was walking around with a coin and a camerman and NOBODY would even hint at taking his offer of the coin for FIFTY BUCKS! It just goes to show that the average person out there has no concept on what gold is, its value, or more importantly, actually, is its role in this world RIGHT NOW! When these sheeple start to become aware, and start BUYING gold (and silver) is the day I start emptying my two safes and letting them have all they want!

Thanks for the solid piece, Ed.

You have one idiot ranting and raving again. I guess he's in bed with JPM...or wishes he was...

In any case, keep up the fine work. We can only hope CTFC honcho Gensler puts the squeeze on the rats hoarding all the cheese. If we take him at his word, he's going to do SOMETHING! Lets hope for the best.

As for the nay-sayers, well, as Kathy Griffin so aptly said: Just suck it!

    Beautifully done, Andy. Thanks.

Does ANYONE out there have PROOF that the US Government (I'm standing at attention as I wrote that) has 8.333 bazillion tonnes of gold in reserve as some of the Obamaites are claiming??????

I have to know, because I want to buy some more, and well, I would hate them to think I was COMPETING with them! You KNOW how sensitive OBAMA can be sometimes....
