I owned LU, then ALU followed... From bitter experience, there is NOTHING this company can do right.

"Grace and intellect" in the service of an untenable position is still irrelevant.

I should've known it would be Blair, trolling Apple as always. No surprise there.

He must really love the negative attention.

  • Will Amazon's 3D Phone Slay Apple? [View article]
Amazon is more like a mirage for profits.

  • Will Amazon's 3D Phone Slay Apple? [View article]
If Amazon ever wants to achieve profitability, they should dump all physical delivery and focus completely on digital products. Their inventory and delivery is nothing but a drain on their resources. They don't need to be Walmart to make a profit.

Post-Obama the pumping up of the economy will come to an end and America will settle in for a 20+ year economic doldrums. Boomers are aging out of the job market and will die off, causing a massive lengthy depression.

People have roundly rejected 3D televisions and they certainly don't want 3D on a phone. It's a gimmick with very limited appeal...even simulated 3D.

  • General Electric: Strap Yourselves In And Prepare For Liftoff [View article]
Anyone who got into AAPL at $700 was clearly not thinking straight. They are the kind of stock that is a good buy on irrational dips, because they are so well managed they will clearly rebound.

Both are pretty good stocks to own. Why choose? GE pays a healthy dividend and AAPL is now "reset" (post-split) to take off again.

No, it will not even dent Apple. It will be the "Amazon shopping phone".

50% growth from their current levels, post-split? Not going to happen. That is far too optimistic. Too soon.

  • Apple At $650. Now What? [View article]
I have some programming background, so I certainly do not consider myself an expert, however Apple's introduction of their new Swift programming language (a variant of Objective-C that is far, far more efficient and modern) and their dozens of announced partnerships in both the health and home markets will result in massive growth for iOS.

I haven't seen an analyst yet who understands the potential impact of Apple's new API's and dev kits (HomeKit, HealthKit).

Plus, Apple will use Siri (their voice recognition software) to tie together their home control and devices. This is going to get real interesting real fast.

  • Apple: Why Netflix Could Follow Beats [View article]
Rights to content in both cases (Hulu and Netflix) would not survive transfer of ownership, which makes both scenarios an impossibility for Apple.
