What Will It Take for Embedded 3G Laptops To Take Off?

I'm liking some of the devices they're starting to come out with that are making me like the idea of going with a mobile device (such as the samsung Omnia) over a laptop. But what is keeping me from guying one is the fact that all the carriers are using the same 5 gig cap plans for data use. Which tells me they are STILL screwing customers on their monthly bills in an attempt to offset costs on the carriers end. If they would get a clue and put a REASONABLE cap on it - one that would remove the subscribers fear that the carrier was going to just gouge the cutomers bill and well we all know the methods the carriers use to cause use to exceed the pathetic 5 gig cap. WE ALL KNOW THAT GAME. We're not gonna play it anymore and we're not gonna let our kids or neighbors kids play it either. LISTEN UP INDUSTRY, that's right I know you're there I know you're reading this. If you want widespread mobile wireless adoption to occur, you're gonna have to stop screwing customers to offset costs. When people become convinced that they wont get a bullshit bill after the first 3 months of a 2 year contract, more and more will sign back up, and it will take off. Yes, people WILL abandon their desktops and laptops and it will truly be a wireless consumer world. THEN the industry and corporate hogs and the "elite" upper class will be able to truly devour all the landline pipes. And that's what you really want. So give us what WE want, and you'll get what you all want. That's right. Stop crying about the economy, and how much money is getting wasted on advances that aren't catching on; start doing something right. You want the economy fixed get us something in the way of jobs back. You educated idiots may never understand that if people don't have jobs they don't have income and no one spends any freaking money. What's that? What did you say? AH yes, that's right we have a conflict of interests you say? Industry and tech makes want one thing and the establishment wants another? Yeah, that's a bummer isn't it? I guess it's true what they say about a dog turning on itself when there is nothing else left to devour.
