An In-Depth Analysis Of Cisco Systems [View article]
Very comprehensive article, Maani. Need to read it more than once. Thank you very much. I don't own any CSCO as of the moment, but it is attractive on several bases. I'm like a couple of other posters . . buy now, or wait til after upcoming release. A not uncommon dilemma. Thank you again.
Should Dividend Investors Hold Abbott And Abbvie Following The Split? [View article]
Nice article, DGI. It was a good general presentation and overview of some of the specifics about each of the two entities. I was long ABT before the split. Sold off the ABT just recently. Thank you very much.

Good article, Richard. Thank you. Have largely been a bottom-up investor, but recognize the merit in taking broader economic factors into consideration. Your article has reminded me to begin doing so.
Dividend Yield Or Dividend Growth? How About Both, With A Dash Of Value For Good Measure [View article]
Thank you very much for the article, Jon. Will visit SPHQ holdings for some additional starting point(s). Many facets to the art of dividend investing. I am long JNJ, and have been watching EMR for some time. I am hopeful this 'fiscal cliff' (tiring of that phrase) posturing will provide me an opportunity to buy some closer to the $48 price.
Intel: Near 52 Week Lows, Now Is An Excellent Time To Buy [View article]
Nice article, Matthew. The dividend is ok, but may be a wait on any price appreciation. I'm long INTC, but not sure about going any longer. And you? Thanks for the article, Matthew. It's nicely objective.
Retirement Strategy: Replacing Yield With More Yield [View article]
Hi, RS. Always enjoy and am edified by your articles. I am joined by many others. Thank you for your input. Did notice while doing my own DD on KFN that it's ESS was actually Neutral (4.0) moments ago. I recognize that's only one factor of many to consider, but wonder how recently it changed from Bullish. Thank you again, RS. Keep those ideas coming. They are appreciated. Have a blessed day.

Thanks for the article, Matt. Interesting.Have looked at BMO, but not familiar with BLX. It has some nice +'s, but would like your comments on it's debt levels, which seem on the high side. Thanks, Matt.
4 Dividend Stocks To Buy And 1 To Avoid For Summer 2012 [View article]
Hi, Todd. Enjoy your articles and ideas. CYS piques my interest, but no mortal can fully comprehend the nuances of financial statements, especially as regards REITs. I note some positives w-r-t CYS, including high ESS (per Fidelity, a not too bad chart, and a nice dividend. I note, as well, however some negatives; among them a negative dividend growth pattern, and a very high debt/equity ratio. I note, too, that they are issuing another 30 (or 40) million shares at $13.70. Issuance of new shares is not generally a positive for 'normal' equities as relates to dilution. Honestly don't know the impact on CYS, or REITS, but note the issue price will be below today's closing price. You note you may purchase in the A.M. I am a dividend/income investor, and am looking with interest at CYS. Would appreciate your response to the issues I've raised. Thanks in advance for your response, Todd. Please keep your great ideas coming.
4 Dividend Stocks To Buy And 1 To Avoid For Summer 2012 [View article]
Hi, Todd. Thanks for your articles and ideas. Like most, CYS seems to have some +'s (high Fidelity ESS, nice dividend, OK chart), it also has a few negatives, including rather high debt/equity and a history of negative dividend growth. Would also note that it plans to offer 30 (or 40) million more shares @ $13.70. CYS interests me as a dividend/income investor, but would welcome your comments in support of CYS in light of the above mentioned negatives. Thanks in advance for your response. Keep your articles coming.
Enjoy your articles, Bret. Thanks for the good ideas with accompanying objective data. Keep 'em coming. Have been long FLY for some time. Enjoying the dividends.
