You were absolutely correct, MGM is sitting at about $20. Any thoughts on where it might go from here?

Just an on-the-ground comment that I've heard recently from our IT folks that with the recent NSA peeping in on people's business combined with some of the probing that China has been doing, some firms who are storing sensitive/confidential data are becoming a lot more wary of cloud-based IT arrangements. I don't doubt your thesis, but I wouldn't be surprised to see at least some level of interest in on-site storage until these kinds of issues are shaken out.

Perhaps Apple knows something about their future revenues that we won't for a year or two? Buying low?

  • Arne Alsin's Investing Themes For 2013  [View article]
Have really appreciated your analysis since discovering your articles in late 2011. Noticed a lack of energy stocks in your last two lists, curious if that is just because you haven't seen upside value or if its part of a larger theme regarding the sector? Thanks again for your thoughts, I picked up NCR based on your analysis and have already seen a nice gain (and still doing well with MIL from last year).

  • The Big Squeeze, Part 1  [View article]
Hi Arne, I've kept up with your posts on this site since the beginning of the year and have really appreciated your insight. I see this is a multi-part thing, so perhaps my answer will be provided in a future segment in this series, but what companies might you recommend given this long-term shift? Amazon and Ebay seem to be somewhat obvious, but what else is on the horizon? And do you see companies such as UPS and FedEx showing any appreciable benefit from this?

As a side note, I'd love to see an update to some of your picks from earlier this year given the direction of the market in the past few months. Thanks again!
