I thought $.80 was an over-reaction. Manufacturing will benefit when located in countries with devaluing currencies. Also, pricing opportunities abound in inflationary economies, which are created by devaluation. I suspect PM decided to go big on the hit now while everyone else is crashing, then beat expectations every quarter in 09. It's also a good opportunity for management to grant themselves stock options at bargain prices.
