  • Chipotle Mexican Grill: The High Multiples Are Justified [View article]
CMG has announced that they are entering the catering business recently, and are planning on opening few hundred stores, which at the surface tells me that there are no shortages of food supplies.

They may be just giving excuses on why they are not executing as expected.

In my area they have opened a new store about 2 miles away from the current one they have. I think they have saturated the marker for segment they are in. Don’t forget food is in a way a fashion.

  • A Couple Of Comments On JPMorgan's Downgrade [View article]
Paulo, I have disagree with you on 3% of credit card commission Amazon pays on credit card sales.
I was a controller of businesses and normally visa and master card would charge a company such as Amazon closer to 1% and Amex would charge 3%. Assuming 70% of most sales are purchased with VISA and MC I would Put 1.30 to 1.50% on credit card commission.
    Note: I am short AMZN

I was short CRM and hours before the bad knew my broker bought my short back and I was left with a loss.

I think some how the owners of the stock knew that bad new is coming and they recalled the stock. Did this happen to anyone?

Most of your recommendation sounds like tricks and gimmicks that will have results for a quarter or two and will not change the fundamental problem of Neflix. The problem is content cost, and a large number of competitors that is only growing

  • More on Apple: On a cautious note, Malik says talks with Apple employees indicate the company has embraced "a culture of schedule-driven releases" in the post-Jobs era. This focus on releasing a product according to a pre-set timetable is deemed a reason "Siri and Maps arrived as half-baked products." Meanwhile, many think the most important part of Apple's shakeup is that Jony Ive will be in charge of both software and hardware interfaces - that could put an end to Apple's embrace of skeuomorphic software design[View news story]

  • Apple TV - Destined To Be Mediocre [View article]
You have couple of way to get content to your home, through cable or satellite dish. Telephone and cable companies owns the actual cable and satellite is owned by others. I don't see how these companies going to let Apple or anyone else use their lines to bankrupt them.

Apple TV may have better features and use the ecosystem but will not replace Cable or Satellite companies. If any one has to fear Apple TV is Netflex and Amazon.
