Two Stocks Going Ex-Dividend Last Week of July [View article]
REITs offer a decent vehicle for "buying dividends" REITMedia.com offers a good representation of dividends sorted by Payable date and Record Date. Since it takes a couple of days to settle, I buy 3 market days prior to record date. I've done this a couple of times and made a few bucks.

Thanks for the positive coverage. I agree with your comments. Great properties and 2011 will be a much better time to refi that debt that matures then. This is a buy.

It does require a data plan, but sprint offers unlimited data at half the price of att.

Palm's Pre: Salvation in Sunnyvale? [View article]
I'm really excited about the PRE. Palm is going back to basics with a simple device that will inspire. Facebook will drive more and more people to smart phones - like the PRE. Unlike the iPhone which is on the most expensive network and unlike the Blackberry which always require an expensive Blackberry data plan, the PRE is designed to be open to other networks and for many developers.
I was more hopeful about the Google Android phone, but Sprint will get the Pre in way more hands than T-mobile could ever provide Google.
Not only are REITs oversold, but many are getting much more creative with incremental revenue which means even more revenue on the flip-side of this current downturn.
Here are two examples, that I've covered recently...
