  • Sirius XM: If Smart Money Is Leaving, What's Next? [View article]
There is no smart money. Urban myth.

But, let's use your example. Reasonable explanations are:
    1) You needed something to write about, for clicks. or
    2) Their profit is so high that they are now in it with house money or
    3) These are extremely minor valuation changes, that mean nothing. As pointed out by several above.

The easy money has been made. Time to move on to other speculative issues (AXION, FCEL, XIDE, ACPW, GDXJ) and treat this as a stock that makes it's 10-15% per year. I know I am not smarter than Malone and this represents the meat in his sandwich.

    HTL-

I must be missing something: People sold 19,589 shares and bought 270,400 shares. Sound OK. Sorry, but what am I misunderstanding?

    Thank you,

The tech is available. There are several companies that specialize in micro fuel cells, especially for the military. One company, Medis Technology has had a product on the market for over a year. Also, google micro fuel cells.

Congratulations on the recognition of your expertise. We are indeed lucky to have you as mentor. Many of the good things in my professional life have come because of mentors who taught me what to look for. Thank you.

It was clear from reading the presentations at the Battery Conference that Axion got it right in understanding the recharging problem and fixing it with carbon. Others are playing catch-up and looking for alternative solutions. We all know how long that will take, eve if they come up with something new and better.

What is also interesting is that most of the research comes from Europe and Japan.

Do you have any feeling about how all these presenters will end up "making Axion's case"?

Plug's fuel cell replaces batteries; that's part of their sell.

From a Law Enforcement perspective, it's more important that the jail can provide its own power for an extended period of time were there to be a major catastrophe, such as an earthquake. The jail is close to the San Andreas Fault.

This combination of fuel cells and batteries will become increasingly more important. Fuel cells provide distributed energy, and heat/air conditioning at about 90% efficiency, I've read. The battery allows the capability to sell electricity back to the system. The fuel cell can be powered by methane created by off gasses and a belt press in the sewerage processing area. If you plan really well and have an off gassing situation, power and heat/air conditioning can become pretty economical.

  • The Secret Behind The Liberty-Sirius FCC Filings [View article]
Thank you. A very clear explanation.

Your clarity is wonderful. If SIRI, the stock, was a person it would be diagnosable as a mental disorder, considering the emotions it creates in others, the ups and downs, the loves and hatreds, etc.

I follow it daily because of the size of my investment. But, honestly, at this point I just want it over with. The cast of characters that comment on the stock, are almost all 'over the top' also. So, Liberty please buy the stock.

Earlier, someone was concerned with the next raise. The next raise will likely be to pay for expansion; not a problem.

Even less of a problem is that there are so few shares outstanding. While, we're dreaming, let's dream of the stock splits. It's the splits that create the real wealth.

That said, I'm happy to ride it out, step by step up, with sometimes a step back. This is a journey that we will all remember, if it plays out the way Tom sounded.

I have never read an annual report for a developmental company that was this positive.

It's a wonder that some larger players are not taking large positions.

My wife read the report and said buy more shares. She has ever even been interested in hearing about any company's story before. She is a Hospice RN with little interest in the market, but really sees and likes this story.

I'm going through this with SIRI. When I bought scads at .36, and more at .60, and more at 1.25, I had dreams of $5-10/share. SIRI may go for $2.60-2.90 to Liberty. It feels like I've made $10.00 per hour given all the hours I put into following and keeping up with SIRI.

I really don't want this one to be sold. I'd like to ride it for years. But, that's just me. JP, I understand you have a lot of $$ in this and you want to be made whole.

FCEL is a year or two ahead of AXPW, They recently needed $$ to build production to meet their 1/3 billion dollar backlog of orders. When they went out for $$ they sold 40MM shares for the 60MM they needed. It did not hurt the share holders much. There is a difference between selling shares to survive and selling shares to build production facilities.

The stock sales put a solid floor on the stock and made it possible to begin to trade in addition to holding a core position.
