QCOR estimates that as many as 2,000 children annually experience IS within the US (from 10-K 2008)

Watch for Vigabatrin - a potentially competitor that is already approved in Canada and most likely soon will be in the US.

  • Four Questions for the Seagate Board [View article]
    Great unique post.

Question though: Is Watkins leaving Seagate necessarily? Or moving to another role? Sources have stated that Luczo and Watkins would discuss about other possible roles. Would the separation agreement still hold validity if a conclusion could not be met? Interesting to note.

  • Seagate: Revenue Will Be Better than Expected [View article]
To give a little more detail on the wiggle room:

Seagate amended its credit pact with its lenders to increase their flexibility in meeting obligations/covenants. The restated pact contains an increase the maximum permitted net leverage ratio to 1.80x for the quarter ended July 3, 2009, 2.65x for the quarter ended Oct. 2, 2009 and 1.80x for the quarter ended Jan. 1, 2010. The pact will proved covenant relief for the next three quarters under the net minimum liquidity requirement to $600M. I believe the original minimum liquidity requirement was at $500M (via Q2 Earnings Call).

Where are you getting that $10M FCF number for Electro Rent? I'm seeing a negative one over the past twelve months.

    Good quick summary.

  • Earnings Preview: NVIDIA [View article]
Please read the Earnings Call Q4 2008. CFO Marvin Burkett states that they do not expect significant inventory write-offs in Q1; Furthermore, they do have inventory reserves of $50M, instead of their normal reserves of $5M to $10M.

A closer look at Webush's analyst report, I believe the comment was "We also look for an inventory write-off in the vicinity of $100M...", implying the analyst believes, not the firm.

Not to discredit the analyst's forecast, nor credit NVDA with their inventory situation, I just thought it should be known that piece of information was derived from the analyst, not the Company.
