He has nearly 13 years as a sell-side equity analyst and in total has in excess of 30 years of oil and gas industry experience. He is recognized globally as the groundbreaking sell side analyst on public companies operating in Colombia and has written extensively n the country since 2008, as well as on other regions of South America (offshore Caribbean, Argentina), the UK North Sea and New Zealand.
He was ranked the #3 Stock Picker for Oil and Gas in Canada for 2005 in the annual StarMine Analyst Awards, the #3 Earnings Estimator for 2009 and the #2 Stock Picker for 2010 for Oil and Gas in Canada, also as recognized by StarMine. Frederick Kozak holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
